Welcome to our house by the lake!

Just steps away from a swim in Lake Groß Labenz, a fishing trip with your own rowboat, or a coffee break on the jetty. Our cozy wooden bungalow is equipped with everything you need—from kitchenware to children’s toys. Outside, you’ll find garden furniture, a sun umbrella, and a sandbox. The bungalow is part of a spacious, family-friendly holiday complex with six houses, a playground, a large lawn, and direct lake access—either from the T-shaped jetty with a bathing ladder or via the shore. The Sternberger Lake District features valleys along the Warnow River, lakes, and forests. Beavers, otters, sea eagles, cranes, and kingfishers live here. Enjoy the peace and quiet, yet you’re close to the Baltic Sea, Wismar, and Schwerin. Lake Groß Labenz is perfect for anglers thanks to its abundance of fish. Two fishing ponds are about 700 m away. Only 500 m from the house, there’s a lovely playground and a free lakeside swimming area with a sunbathing lawn, sandy beach, pontoon, and water slide. The shallow entry is ideal for children. A kiosk offers ice cream, drinks, and snacks. In Warin (3 km), you’ll find doctors and shops—including supermarkets, a pharmacy, butcher, ice cream parlor, restaurants, the Sternberger Lake District Nature Park Center, and a tourist office where you can rent bikes. Wismar and Schwerin are 20 minutes away, Rostock 45 minutes, Lübeck 1 hour, and Hamburg 1.5 hours. The Baltic Sea island of Poel is about 30 minutes away. The beach at Schwarzer Busch, for example, is perfect for families with its shallow water. Other attractions include Neukloster, Sternberg, the Groß Raden open-air museum, Wismar Zoo, Güstrow Wildlife Park, Rühn Monastery, and many more. Children will love a trip to Karls Strawberry Farm.
